This did *NOT* cut it.  The problem must have been introducedI in V6.7 of the firmware.  I've sent "feedback" to Compaq about the issue, I but since I don't have a formal support agreement, I can't file a service  event.  F I did buy their V7.3-EFT1 SDK, so, you'd think I'd have some formal FTL feedback loop, but I can't find it in any of the literature I have, and when@ I log into their FT website, it says I need a username/password.  D My tack this morning is to patch SYSBOOT to cut out the check on theJ firmware revision.  I realize that this may cause wierd crashes, etc., butK how different could the AXP firmware be from one release to another?
