[.GNUINFO]		Information about software available from the 
			Free Software Foundation's GNU (Gnu's Not Unix)
			project. 

[.LEGAL]		Legal issues of interest to network participants.  

[.MISCINFO]		Just what it says.  

[.MSDOS_UUCP]		INTERIM.ARC	UUPC, an implementation of uucp 
					for MS-DOS, in archive format.  
			PKX35A35.EXE	MS-DOS archive utility, shipped as a
					self-unpacking archive.  
			Move both of these to your MS-DOS micro with Kermit
			in "binary" mode, run PKX35A35 to generate the 
			archive utility, read the documentation, and run it
			on INTERIM.ARC to unpack it.  (An MS-DOS archive 
			file is sort of like a BACKUP saveset.)

[.NETINFO]		Information about routing, domains, the "backbone",
			etc.  Some discussion about VMSnet issues has been
			copied here.  

[.NETNEWS]		Articles from the "newusers" newsgroup on Usenet. 
			Describes the newsgroups, discusses network policy
			and ettiquette, and so on.  

[.OTHERSW]		Information about other software that may be of
			interest to network participants.  Also includes
			source for an NNTP news reader, which is said to
			work under VMS.  

[.RFCS]			Requests For Comment -- specifications regarding
			Internet network protocols, headers, and so on.  
			(Some of this is nroff source, readable
			but just barely without an nroff program.)  

[.SERVICES]		Information about commercial services available to 
			network	participants.  Read the UUNET* files in 
			particular.

[.UTILS]		Utility programs that might be of interest to network 
			participants.  Most of these are in either "shar" or 
			"VMS_SHAR[E]" format.  The former can probably be 
			unpacked by UNSHAR.  The latter are self-unpacking -- 
			just edit them to get rid of the garbage lines at the 
			beginning, and invoke what's left as a command 
			procedure.  The command procedure that creates these, 
			VMS_SHARE.COM, is in [VMSNET.BIN].  

[.UUCPZONE]		Information about the uucp zone within Internet.  

[.VMSMAILIF]		Information about the foreign mail protocol interface
			to VMS Mail, used by VN_MAILSHR.
