I'm pleased to announce the release of FLIST v2.0. FLIST is a TPU-based directory and file manager, similar to SWING in functionality, but oh, so much better! 8-) Some of the features include: o Ability to rename, delete, purge, copy, edit, or view files o Ability to tag groups of files for renaming, deleting, etc. o Ability to connect to a "kept" editor in a subprocess o CD directory changer which uses abbreviations o Support for DECwindows mouse ("M" and GOLD/S) o Support for an initialization file containing user customizations (see the file FLIST.INIT) Authors: Hunter Goatley, goathunter@wkuvx1.bitnet Peter Galbraith, galbrth@ac.dal.ca If you're running FLIST now, I urge you to upgrade to this version. If you're not running FLIST, I urge you to give it a try---you won't be sorry. FLIST is available via e-mail by sending the command SEND FLIST in a mail message to FILESERV@WKUVX1.bitnet. (Bitnet sites running Jnet can use SEND to send an interactive command to VMSSERV@WKUVX1: VMSDUMP FLIST.PACKAGE.) It comes in 13 VMS_SHARE parts.
