I found this in conf.h while installing the VMS Gopher Client 2.06: "Lynx is a Curses-based HTML browser, available from ftp2.cc.ukans.edu, which was initially designed to use Gopher as its server and still works well with this software (on both VMS and Unix platforms)." Get version 2.0.10 and VMS_WWWlib.zip from this site. Customize the appropriate header files for your site, customize and build wwwlib, modify the appropriate descrip.mms (or build.com) to point at wwwlib, and build then build the whole thing. Detailed instructions are included, but it took me a while to figure out so I thought I'd give you a quick overview. Lynx runs as a stand-alone or can be called from Gopher Client 2.06 to read HTML links.
