Nope, its in there, specificaly your address is barfing news software all over... Do you have dialixes number? ;-) > does having this much of memory being non-paged have on the system? > (I would rather see the product taken off our systems since they run ok > without it, but that's an internal political battle I will work on.) > > Any comments, suggestions or tales of experiences on the use of I/O Express > would be appreciated. Let try once more with feeling... IO express can fail to release memory back to npp fast enought under high and increasing io load. No npp -> no system. It hangs solid. But SCS et al are still alive, so no CLU-EXIT. If you are very lucky, pull your ethernet cable and drop the SCS links and it MAY come back... Over a 12 hr RDB job, IOexpress saved 20-30 min. For the cost you can get a couple of Gb of fast disk now days. -- ~Paul +61 (09) 257-1001 prep@yarrow.wt.uwa.edu.au ( preferred ) 1 Crescent Rd, zrepachol@cc.curtin.edu.au Kalamunda, West Aust 6076
