SYSE is the default location for standalone backup, and ddcu is the device specification you gave to stabackit.com. HOWEVER, note that as of V6.1, standalone backup in its usual form went away on AXP platforms. It was replaced with a command procedure that builds a minimized version of VMS on a data disk, for example. See your V6.1 docs. This isn't as small as standalone backup, but it's not nearly as big as full OpenVMS, and it should get smaller as we tune it further. -- Me, not Digital David F.
