If you have the latest version of it, v1.2-1 TRLN_Q, from gopher://trln.lib.unc.edu/ (plus a patch on gopher://sci.wfeb.edu/ for DECC, that I forgot to include in the stuff that went into TRLN_Q, but you don't need it for VAXC), then it will serve HTML files without any problems, but can't do any of the fancy http services. With two freeware versions of "real" http servers for VMS, you are much better off using a real one. Server.doc in the gopher server distribution explains how to serve html files with it.
