Introduction

trplayer is a RealMedia player for Linux which has a command-line
interface instead of a graphical interface. This makes it fully
accessible to blind users and others who can't use the graphical user
interface or prefer the text interface. trplayer supports all media
formats supported by RealPlayer 7 (RealAudio, RealVIdeo, MP3, etc.).
In presentations which involve video and other visual media, trplayer
plays the audio and discards the rest.

You can get the latest version of trplayer from the [4]trplayer home
   page.

Requirements

     * An Intel Pentium or better processor
     * Linux 2.0 or later with glibc 2.1.x
     * A sound card with a Linux driver
     * [5]RealPlayer 7

Usage

If you run the "trplayer -h" command, you'll get a help message with
information about the command-line parameters and a list of commands
you can use while running trplayer.

If your RealPlayer libraries are located somewhere other than
/usr/lib/RealPlayer7, you should set the REALPLAYER_HOME environment
variable to point to the root directory for these libraries.
