This is not a request for help but I thought that by posting this, I may help someone who had the unfortunate idea of upgrading to OpenVMS7.2 and struggling with tones of problems as I am : A (most probably) change in the CRTL will make the CGI.pm on line 2735. The line in question is a -w test on a directory, the directory received is \tmp . The syntax \tmp not only will not work but also will cause a sure crash in all perl modules and related. For CGI.pm, the solution is to change (around line 95) .
