This area contains the 6.05 build sources for Star Office, released
as open source by Sun. Since the material is large and unwieldy
to download it is presented here as a convenience to possible VMS
users.

There is a rumor that Compaq is working on a port, but they need
not be the only ones.

Star Office is a free "work-similar" clone to MS Office. There
are two parts: a server part in C and C++ and a client part
in Java. You will need a Java client to use. (For VMS see
