Release notes for Fence

Have you ever moved a window off the desktop and couldn't move it
back again? Fence was written to prevent that kind of stupid accident from occuring on Windows desktops.

Fence runs as a tray icon on Windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows NT.
Running the program creates a virtual 'fence' around the desktop, preventing windows from being moved outside.

Fence version 1.0 was released 11-May-1999. Fence is copyright 1999 by Bamboo Software. Fence version 1.0 is freeware, there is no charge for using this software.

Installation:
------------
1. Create a new folder ("Program Files\Fence" for example).
2. Unzip the 2 files in fence.zip into the folder you created in step 1. (The files are fence.exe and fenceHook.dll)
3. Run fence.exe

Known problems with Fence version 1.0:
-------------------------------------
1. Console windows ("DOS boxes") are not trapped by Fence.
2. An access violation occurs when starting NAI McAfee VirusScan scan tasks while Fence is running.
