Article 165514 of comp.os.vms:

The first GS error is real, according to Peter.  It just went undetected by
everyone else's C compiler. :)

The other errors are because he added/changed some things and did not make
the OpenVMS changes in it's build files.  At this time, I still believe
v4.01 is the only functional OpenVMS release.

Once again, if anyone wants to help build a MMS Description file for GS in
the style Peter uses and ship it to him (or me and I can forward it) then 
there will be hope for continued OpenVMS support in GS.  Otherwise, it may
not get past v4.01...  This is what I was told by Peter.  He has no
OpenVMS knowledge and relays on us for that side of things.  He feels it is
getting too hard for him to support OpenVMS.
