This font was rendered fine at V7.0. I examined this problem a bit more. Using a program called XFD, I displayed this font and noticed that the horizonal lines aren't part of the font, as iconifying the program and deiconifying it showed the horizontal lines on different characters. Also, they seemed to be in the location where an underline might be, at the bottom of the characters.
