SSR
In networks based on TCP/IP, the Secure Socket Relay (SSR) now utilises the SSL protocol to authenticate and encrypt all data traffic between clients and servers. SSR SSL supports all 'static port' based TCP such as http (web), telnet, database client/server (Sybase/MS-SQL Server/Oracle), and email.

SSR applications include
· building secure, encrypted, Virtual Private Networks.
· enhancing export level Web browsers to full strength encryption.
· adding encryption to existing, TCP/IP based, client-server.

Includes support for full strength versions of DES (incl. full triple DES), IDEA, RSA, RC4 encryption and MD5, SHA message digest algorithms.

Currently supported (as beta) under NT and Windows 95.
For UNIX and Windows 3.x versions contact Neil Costigan (neil@medcom.se) direct
