Get your JCSI-generated X.509 certificates here! These can be used
for SSL client authentication and secure email (S/MIME). Both Netscape
Communicator and Microsoft Internet Explorer/Outlook are supported. Simply
click on the appropriate link below for your browser or email client of
choice and follow the instructions there:
Netscape | Microsoft |
Both products are supposed to share a common (PKCS#12) format for private key & certificate. A private key & certificate generated for one can be exported and then imported into the other, allowing the same key pair to be used with either product.
Once installed succesfully, you are ready to experiment with S/MIME (try sending yourself mail) or SSL client authentication (for instance against the sample JCSI SSL server).
