  The terse user boot dept
 The Question is:

What is the command to boot a user off the system?

Thanks

 The Answer is :

Answered literally, OpenVMS Alpha cannot boot off a user, as
only random-access devices (disks) are supported for bootstraps.

Somewhat more seriously, the command(s) involved depend greatly on
exactly what you mean by "boot a user off the system". Potential
answers can range from AUTHORIZE commands to disable the username
to the DCL command STOP to an application program that calls $forcex
and/or $delprc system services to the ever-popular "How do I delete
(timeout) idle processes?" section of the OpenVMS FAQ. Discussions
of network reconfigurations, system security, and firewalls could
  also be involved here.
