This directory has a USB mass storage for USB compact flash card
reader writers, USB CD readers (writing is not supported), and USB attached
disks. The driver has been tested against a number of different USB mass
storage devices. Most of the ones we have tried work just fine. One thing
to watch out for is that some units require a powered hub and hooking them
up will cause OpenVMS to log an error in the USB event log. We also
encountered one unit that cause the USB configuration manager to fail, and one
digital camera that would not configure.
