Steve,

I picked up a beta test version of Netscape for VMS from

http://axp616.gsi.de:8080/www/vms/sw/netscape.htmlx

This works fine but I can't seem to work out how to set it up to use
the VMS MAIL system.
Is this a limitation of this beta and will the released version be able
to work with the VMS MAIL MAIL.MAI files.
Also if work is going on with this part of Netscape would it be possible to
remove the setting of mail ids from the preferences. file.
Even if this was only changed to put these in another file which I could setup
and then protect from change by the use of ACLs.
This is the biggest problem with PC based products which send mail or post
to newsgroups - the configuration files make mail forgeing by accident or
design much too easy. I for one do not wish this problem occuring on my
VMS systems if at all possible.
