ANU-News  - Not just a news reader, but a full-blown news system for
            VMS, including both an NNTP client and server.  Available by
            anonymous FTP from kuhub.cc.ukans.edu.  VMS style user
            interface. Contact Bob Sloane (sloane@kuhub.cc.ukans.edu)
            for more information.

BULLETIN  - Includes a USENET news reading mode.  Send mail to    
            BULLETIN@ORYANA.PFC.MIT.EDU with the word "INFO" in the
            message body for details on what BULLETIN is and how to get
            it.

DXRN/MXRN - DECwindows and Motif implementations of xrn, an X Windows
            based NNTP client. Available by anonymous FTP from
            decuac.dec.com, file /pub/DEC/dxrn.share.  Contact Rick
            Murphy (murphy@burfle.dco.dec.com) for more information.

FNEWS     - Basically a mixture of NEWSRDR and ANU-NEWS, providing a
            somewhat different full-screen interface and quick response
            to all newsgroups.  It can be found in the pub/fnews/vms
            directory on tui.marc.cri.nz.  Contact Chris Pugmire 
            (Chrisp@marc.cri.nz) for more information.

NEWSRDR   - A news reader NNTP client written by Matt Madison. Available
            by anonymous FTP from ftp.spc.edu in directory
            [.MADISON.NEWSRDR].  It is also available via e-mail by
            sending the following commands in the body a of mail message
            to FILESERV@WKUVX1.BITNET:

               SEND NEWSRDR
               SEND FILESERV_TOOLS
               SEND NEWSRDR_SRC           !To get the sources

            Available in both OpenVMS VAX and OpenVMS AXP versions.

TIN       - Tod McQuillin has ported TIN 1.22 to VMS. Available by
            anonymous FTP from hobbes.cc.duq.edu in [anonymous.tin].

	    You'll probably want to grab the various GNU things he has
            there to assist in the build. See the [anonymous.gnu].

VMS NEWS  - A news reader NNTP client.  Available by anonymous FTP from
            ftp.rz.uni-ulm.de, directory /pub/VMS/communication
            (news_124.com-z) and on ftp.spc.edu in [.UCX] directory
            (news_124.zip or news_125.zip). Contact Bernd Onasch 
            (bernd@rzsun2.rz.uni-karlsruhe.de) for more information.

VNEWS     - A news reader NNTP client.  Available by anonymous FTP from
            arizona.edu in directory [SOFTWARE.VMS.VNEWS].  UNIX style
            user interface. Contact Joel Snyder (jms@arizona.edu) for
            more information.
