cdrecord is upto for now Alpha only (OpenVMS 7.1). But cdwrite
works for VAX/VMS and if you use the "CDR400=1" option during compilation
you'll get an executable that works with all scsi-drives, that came out since Jan 1999
(so called mmc-command-set). This is what Joerg Schilling says on his web-pages.
